A febbraio siamo andati a
Montelparo con l’azienda Light
House per montare una casa per un
cliente utilizzando strutture portanti
in legno lamellare incollato e
pannelli GLT. Abbiamo eseguito
l’installazione completa del telaio e
dei pannelli sul posto, abbiamo
ricoperto il tetto con una membrana
antipioggia/vapore, abbiamo
nastrato le giunzioni dei pannelli
delle pareti e installato le finestre.
Questo progetto è un ottimo
esempio di come le strutture in
legno possano garantire stabilità e
durevolezza anche in una regione
sismicamente attiva.
SAFE AND SUSTAINABLE WOODEN HOUSE IN ITALY
In February, together with the Light
House company, we went to
Montelparo to assemble a house for
a client using load-bearing glued
laminated timber structures and GLT
panels. We carried out the full frame
and panel installation on site,
covered the roof with a rain/vapour
membrane, taped the joints of the
wall panels and installed the
windows. This project is a great
example of how wooden structures
can provide stability and durability
even in a seismically active region.
REGIONE SISMICAMENTE ATTIVA
Montelparo si trova nell’Italia centrale,
una regione nota per la sua attività
sismica. L’Italia nel suo complesso è uno
dei Paesi più sismicamente attivi
d’Europa e i terremoti sono un fenomeno
frequente.
Le strutture in legno hanno dimostrato di
essere particolarmente efficaci nelle
regioni sismicamente attive. La flessibilità
del legno e la sua capacità di assorbire
energia lo rendono un materiale
eccellente per edifici in grado di resistere
ai carichi sismici. Inoltre, i moderni
metodi di rinforzo delle strutture in legno,
come l’uso di elementi di fissaggio e
collegamenti speciali, aumentano
ulteriormente la resistenza degli edifici
all’attività sismica.
La nostra struttura di Montelparo è stata
costruita tenendo a mente questi principi,
garantendo sicurezza e longevità anche
in zone sismicamente attive.

Montelparo is located in central Italy,
a region known for its seismic activity.
Italy as a whole is one of the most
seismically active countries in Europe,
and earthquakes are a frequent
occurrence here.
Wooden structures have proven to be
particularly effective in seismically
active regions. The elasticity and
energy-absorbing properties of wood
make it an excellent material for
buildings that can withstand
earthquake loads. In addition,
modern methods of strengthening
wooden structures, such as the use of
special fasteners and joints, further
increase the resistance of buildings to
seismic activity.
Our Montelparo facility has been built
with these principles in mind,
ensuring both safety and longevity
even in seismically active areas.

due strutture tipo hangar, nelle quali verrà
realizzata una casa residenziale di 140 m².
Tutte le strutture sono state verniciate
industrialmente, garantendo ulteriore
protezione e un aspetto estetico. Le
strutture portanti in legno incollato
garantiscono durevolezza e longevità.
La nostra costruzione è stata realizzata in
Estonia dalla società Light house.

For this project, we produced two
hangar-type structures, in which a 140
m² residential house will be built. All
structures were industrially painted,
providing additional protection and
aesthetic appearance. Glued timber
load-bearing structures guarantee
durability and longevity.
